Day 1
Arrival At Jammu
Pick up from Jammu Railway Station / Airport and drive towards your Jammu City.
On arriving at Jammu, you can explore the Bahu Fort, one of the oldest forts in Jammu, built by Raja Jambu Lochan. It also has a huge terraced garden, housing the subcontinent’s biggest underground aquarium. Also visit the famous Raghunath Temple.
History lovers can then visit The Amar Mahal Palace, built in the 19th century for the Dogra King Raja Amar Singh, by a French architect on the lines of a French Chateau.
Later get transferred to Katra. Check into the Hotel. Overnight Stay.
Day 2
Vaishno Devi Darshan
Today Morning, proceed to Vaishno Devi Shrine ( Up and down 26 Kms Trek Approx. 4 Hours ).
One can trek up to the Shrine if fitness permits, otherwise Pony or Palanquins are also available at an extra cost.
Arrive at Vaishno Devi Bhawan. Wash and change before Mata Darshan. Overnight stay at Hotel in Katra.
Day 3
Katra – Shiv Khori - Katra
This day after breakfast visit to Shivkhori.
This palace is one of the most famous and venerated cave shrines of Lord Shiva in the region. This holy cave is more than 150 mts long and houses 4 feet high Svayambhu Lingum, which constantly baths in a milky lime fluid dripping from the ceiling.
In the evening back to Katra hotel. Rest, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4
Jammu – Departure
Post Breakfast, drive back to Jammu.
Nature enthusiasts can either spend some leisure time in the Ramnagar Wildlife Sanctuary or relax in the soothing waters of Mansar Lake.
While you are in Jammu city, don’t forget to savour delectable local culinary delights like rajma chawal, ambal, and gul gule.
Later get transferred to Jammu Railway Station / Airport for your return journey.
